First, bucket elevator operation and maintenance:
1. The hoist is maintained and managed by designated personnel.The key of the power switch box is managed by the designated person.
2. The bucket elevator should drive with empty load. Therefore,the materials in all hoppers should be drained before stopping each time, andthen stop.
3. The hoist must have a winch limiter and a travel limiter. Thelimiter should enable the sheave to stop automatically when it is lifted 300 mmbefore the drum or pulley.
4. Can not be reversed, reversed that the chain derailment mayoccur, eliminating the derailment failure is very troublesome.
5. Before lifting, landing, ringing bell warning before driving.
6. The hoist is not allowed to carry people up or down.
7. Feed evenly and do not suddenly increase the amount of feed.The amount of feed must not exceed the conveying capacity of the hoist.Otherwise, it is easy to cause a “stingy car” accident when the material at thebottom of the stack is serious.
8. Timely and appropriate amount of lubricating oil.
9. When the chain and hopper are seriously worn or damaged, theyshould be replaced in time.
10. After the work is completed, the lifting plate of the hoistingmachine should be grounded, and then cut off the power and close the guardrails.
Second, the bucket belt with skid
1.The bucket elevator uses the friction between the bucket beltand the surface of the head wheel to lift the material. When the bucket belttension is insufficient, the friction force will not be enough, it will causethe bucket belt and the surface of the head wheel to slip. When the abovesituation occurs, it should stop immediately and adjust the tensioning deviceto ensure the tension of the bucket.
When the tensioning device is not adjusted to the lowest positionand the bucket strap cannot be fully tensioned, it can be adjusted as follows:Untie the bucket with the joints, make the tensioning device on the bottomwheel to the highest position, remove the excess bucket strap and bucket, andend to end connection, so that the bucket belt is in the tensioned state. Thenadjust the tensioning device. At this time, the tension stroke that has notbeen used by the adjusting screw should not be less than 70% of the fullstroke.
2. When the hoist exceeds the rated output, the resistance willincrease. In severe cases, it will cause the bucket belt to slip. When such asituation occurs, the amount of material to be fed should be reduced in time.Feeding should be uniform. If the feed rate is adjusted to below the ratedoutput, slippage may occur. The reason may be that there are too many materialsin the base, or the bucket has fallen off, the bucket is caught by foreignmatter, etc., and the machine should be shut down immediately for inspection,troubleshooting.
3. The inner surface of the lifting nose wheel and the bucket beltis too smooth and the friction between the two is not enough. Need to coat thesurface of the head wheel with rubber to increase the friction on the surface.
4. The inflexible rotation of the hoisting nose wheel or tailwheel leads to an increase in resistance, causing the bucket belt to slip. Atthis time, it is necessary to replace the bearing of the head wheel or the tailwheel.
Third, the bucket with deviation
Bucket with deviation phenomenon, will cause the bucket and barrelcollision, bucket with tear and other equipment failure. Should stopimmediately and troubleshoot.
1.The master and slave wheels are not on a vertical projectionplane. The head wheel drive shaft and the bottom wheel steering shaft areinstalled in the same vertical plane, and all are in the horizontal position.The vertical deviation of the machine center line at a height of 1000 mm doesnot exceed 2 mm, and the accumulated deviation does not exceed 8 mm.
2. The joints between buckets belt are not even. Mainly refers tothe lifting machine bucket with the edge of the connection line is nothorizontal and not on the same line. The tightness of the edges on both sidesof the bucket is different, which causes the bucket to move to the tight sideand cause deviation. This may cause the bucket to become less loaded, unable tocompletely discharge, and increase the amount of return material. At the sametime, the bucket belt may be lining up edge, tear. At this point, the machineshould be shut down. Correct the joint so that the bucket edge line is on thesame straight line and do the fixing.
