Lime production line technology

1. Introduction of lime:

Quicklime is also called burning lime, and its main component is calcium oxide. Usually, the preparation method is to dilute the natural rock whose main component is calcium carbonate at high temperature, which can decompose to generate carbon dioxide and calcium oxide (chemical formula: CaO, namely quicklime, also known as Yunshi). All natural rocks with calcium carbonate as the main component, such as limestone, chalk, White Cloud limestone, etc., can be used to produce lime. Shells are used as raw materials in coastal areas, and are fired into shell ash for quicklime.

2. Brief introduction of quicklime production process

Firstly, the limestone is stored in the storage bin, and the feeding amount is controlled by the upper and lower level meters. Then, the limestone is evenly distributed to each chamber of the preheater through the feeding pipe. In this process, the limestone is heated to about 900 degrees Celsius by the flue gas of the kiln at 1150 degrees Celsius in the preheater, and about 30% is decomposed. Then, the limestone is pushed into the rotary kiln through the hydraulic push rod. The limestone has chemical reaction; after decomposition, lime is generated to enter the cooler, and the cold air which is pumped in the cooler is cooled to below 100 degrees Celsius, and the hot air of 600 degrees Celsius after heat exchange is discharged into the kiln and the mixed fuel of gas. The exhaust gas is mixed into the cold air and enters into the bag-type dust collector through the induced draft fan, and then discharged into the chimney through the exhaust fan. The lime discharged from the cooler is sent into the lime storage through vibration feeder, bucket elevator, belt conveyor and other equipment. Determine whether to conduct screening and other procedures according to the needs of users. In the whole lime roasting system, the preheater is divided into several preheating rooms according to the different output, and each preheating room is equipped with a set of hydraulic feeding device, and equipped with automatic control system to deliver relevant data to the PLC control platform of the central control room to realize central centralized control.
