The choice of flotation machine should be based on the nature of the ore. When selecting coarse ore, KYF type, BS-K type flotation machine and CLF type coarse grain flotation machine suitable for coarse particles can be selected. When the ore is easy to select, the selected particle size is fine, the grade is high, the pH value is low, and the flotation column with a large degree of enrichment is selected.
First, the basic principle of selection of flotation machine
1.Should be based on the nature of the ore. In the case that theore is easier to select and the required amount of inflation is not large, mechanical agitation may be used, and vice versa may be considered. When theore is selected to be coarse, the KYF type, BS-K type flotation machine and CLFtype coarse grain flotation machine suitable for coarse particles can beselected. When the ore is easy to select, the selected particle size is fine, the grade is high, and the pH value is low, the flotation column withrelatively large enrichment is selected.
2. Should be based on the size of the plant. In general,large-scale concentrators should use large-scale flotation machines, andmedium- and small-scale concentrators should use medium and small-sizedflotation machines.
3. The selection of operations is mainly based on improving thegrade of concentrate. The flotation foam layer should be thinner so that thegangue is separated. It is not suitable to use a flotation machine with a largeamount of aeration. Therefore, the flotation machine for selecting operationsshould be different from the flotation machine for rough selection andsweeping.
4. It is necessary to pay attention to the manufacturing qualityof the flotation machine and the supply of spare parts and spare parts.
Second, the following parts should be checked frequently duringthe operation of the flotation machine
1. Overheating of rolling bearings in electric motors andimpellers. Generally, the bearing temperature must not exceed 35 °C, and themaximum temperature must not exceed 65 °C.
2. Check the tension of the transmission belt. The degree oftightness should be appropriate. It is found that in the case of severe wear, the belts of the same length and type should be replaced in groups.
3. Check the sealing performance of the oil seal rubber ring. Inparticular, it should be noted that the grease in the bearing body should notleak into the slurry, so as not to affect the normal operation of theflotation.
4. Check if there is enough lubricating oil at each lubricationpoint. If it is found that there is less oil, it should be added in time.
5. Check for any other debris in the tank, it should be cleaned upin time.
Third, the precautions for the test after the flotation machine isoverhauled
After the flotation machine is overhauled, the flotation cellshould be carefully inspected and cleaned before the test, and then the emptycar test run, and gradually added to the clean water operation. Pay attentionto adjust the size of the circulation hole during operation. At the same time, pay attention to check whether the impeller has bias and impact. Also payattention to whether the operation sound of each part is normal. When startingthe motor, check the direction of rotation of the motor shaft. It must beensured that the impeller shaft rotates clockwise (top view).
Fourth, the working principle of mining impeller flotation machine
The slurry is fed into the impeller by the feed pipe, and thecentrifugal force generated by the rotating impeller is thrown into the grooveto generate a negative pressure under the cover plate, and the intake pipeautomatically takes in air. The inhaled air and the fed slurry are mixedtogether in the upper part of the impeller and thrown into the tank, so that anegative pressure is generated and the air is sucked in, thus continuously. After the drug-utilized pulp, the floatingmineral is carried by the bubble to the surface to form a mineralized foamlayer, which is scraped off by the scraper to obtain a concentrate. Theminerals and gangues that do not float up enter the intermediate chamberthrough the gates on the side walls of the trough and are fed into the nextflotation cell. The adjustment of the slurry level in each or several tanks canbe done by adjusting the gates down. This is how the slurry flows in themachine.
