First, daily maintenance of the ball mill:
1. Inject grease into the motor bearings andpinion bearings before each start-up. All other oil-filled parts must be sealedwell and kept clean.
2. When the ball mill is in operation, payattention to the temperature rise of the main bearing lubricating oil, and thetemperature rise of the transmission bearings and the speed reducer must bemaintained at about 55℃, and the maximum must not exceed 60℃.
3. The oil level and lubrication of eachlubrication point of the ball mill should be checked at least once every 4hours. The lubricating oil in the ball mill can not run continuously for morethan one month. Every month, the ball mill must be thoroughly cleaned andreplaced with new oil to ensure the normal operation of the machine. In lateruse, it is possible to change the oil approximately every six months.
4. When the parking time is long in winter,the three-way cock installed at the inlet of the main bearing should be turnedto the waterproof position. With siphon action, the spherical tile can bedrained through the water channel to avoid frost cracking of the spherical orbearing seat.
5. When parking for a long time, the steelball should be poured out to avoid deformation and bending of the cylinder.
6. The ball mill liner should be replacedwith a new liner when it is worn 70% or 70mm long.
7. The ball mill should be repaired in timewhen it wears out of the screw, and it should be replaced when it is worn outuntil it can be repaired. Loose or damaged anchor bolts should also be repairedin time.
8. There is no looseness in the connectionfasteners of the ball mill, and there is no oil leakage, water, or mineralphenomenon on the joint surface. The steel ball is added in time according tothe wear condition. The important components such as the main bearing, thecylinder body, the hollow shaft, the speed reducer, and the large and smallgears are carefully checked and recorded in detail. According to the defectcondition, if the situation is serious, it should be repaired in time.
9. The serious wear of the ball mill pinionshould be promptly replaced, and when the gear face of the big gear wears to acertain degree, it can be turned over for continued use.
10. If the liner bolt is damaged, it shouldbe replaced when the liner is loose. When the main bearing is seriously worn,it should be replaced. When the lattice plate of the lattice ball mill is wornout and cannot be repaired by welding, it should be replaced.
Second, regular maintenance of ball mill:
1. Transmission device
(1) Maintenance of motor and reducer.
(2) The size gear wears up to 25% of thetooth thickness or it breaks and the teeth must be replaced and repaired.
(3) Check the rotating shaft. If there is acrack of 10mm or more, it must be repaired or replaced.
(4) Check whether the elastic pin coupling isin good condition.
2. The main bearing
(1) Check the integrity of the spherical Waba’s alloy. If the wear exceeds 5mm, it must be recast.
(2) Check the main bearing tile, when thesurface abrasion depth exceeds 1mm, it must be repaired. Cracks in the hollowshaft must be repaired.
(3) Check the good condition of the mainbearing seal and find that the oil leakage should check whether the gasket isworn. If it is worn, it should be replaced and adjusted.
3. Rotary section
(1) Check the inlet and outlet screw barrelsand blades. If worn out to the original 70% must be repaired or replaced.
(2) Check the jaws and linings. Replace themif they wear out more than 50% of the original thickness.
(3) Check the grinding head liner and findthat the cracks, and drop angles exceeding the original 70% must be replaced.
(4) Check the cylinder body, the cylinderthickness wear exceeds the original 20% or cracks, local deformation must berepaired or replaced.
(5) Check the manhole cover and gasket, andreplace it in time for damage.
(6) Check the ball linings and replace themin a timely manner if the damage is severe.
