Application Scope and selection principle of buried scraper conveyor

I. Conveying principle and characteristics

Buried scraper conveyor is a continuous conveying equipment for conveying scattered materials such as dust, small particles and small blocks, which can be transported horizontally, obliquely and vertically. During conveying, the scraper chain is all buried in the material, so it is called buried scraper conveyor.

Bulk materials have the characteristics of internal friction and side pressure. During horizontal transportation, the material is pushed by the scraper chain in the moving direction. When the internal friction between the material layer is greater than the external friction between the material and the groove wall, the material moves forward along with the scraper chain. When the ratio of material layer height to groove width meets certain conditions, the material flow is stable.

During vertical transportation, it mainly depends on the bulging characteristics of materials. When the material in the sealing machine slot is pushed by the scraper chain in the moving direction, and is subjected to the resistance of continuous feeding at the lower part to prevent the upper material from falling down, it generates lateral pressure, thus increasing the internal friction of the material. When the internal friction between the material is greater than the external friction between the material and the groove wall and the self-weight of the material, the material will be transported upward along with the scraper chain to form continuous material flow.

Due to the vibration of scraper chain in motion, the material supply of some materials will be destroyed and formed from time to time, thus causing a lag phenomenon to the chain during the conveying process of the materials, affecting the conveying capacity.

II. Application Scope and selection principles

Buried scraper conveyor is mainly composed of closed section groove body, scraper chain, driving device and tensioning device and other parts. The equipment has simple structure, small volume, good sealing performance and convenient installation and maintenance; It can add more materials and unload more materials, and the process selection and layout are relatively flexible; When transporting flying, toxic, high-temperature, flammable and explosive materials, it can improve working conditions and reduce environmental pollution. Buried scraper conveyor is widely used in chemical industry, building materials, metallurgy, electric power, grain, light industry, transportation and other departments.

Buried scraper conveyor has the following requirements for materials.

1. Loose density of materials: = 0.2-2.5 t/h.

2. Material temperature: the applicable material temperature of general models is less than 120℃; The temperature of hot material conveying materials is 100-450 ℃.

3. Moisture content: the moisture content is related to the particle size and viscosity of the material. Generally, it should be loosened after being kneaded into a ball by hand.
