ZK Corp Participated in the 22th Annual Meeting of the 2019 National Magnesium Industry Conference and Magnesium Branch

On the afternoon of October 21, 2019, generalmanager Su Genhua, deputy general manager Ren Guojun, and more than 10 peopleof Henan Zhengzhou Mining Machinery Co., Ltd., went to Changge City, Henan Province,participating in the 22th Annual meeting of the 2019 National MagnesiumIndustry Conference and Magnesium Branch. The conference was hosted by theMagnesium Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. The themeof the conference was “Green Smelting, Technology Upgrade, ExpandingApplication, Developing Magnesium Career Together” to promote a new areas ofmagnesium alloy application. The conference attracted more than 400 experts andscholars, corporate leaders and technicians from the magnesium industry andrelated industries to attend the conference to discuss the development of themagnesium industry.

According to the conference, magnesium has apromising future at present. As one of the most abundant magnesium resourcescountry in the world, China has great variety andextensive distribution magnesium resources. The magnesite resource is themost abundant country after Russia, and the magnesium-containing dolomite mineis also very rich. Wen Xianjun, Vice President of China Nonferrous MetalsIndustry Association, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He affirmedthe rapid development and progress made by China's magnesium industry in recentyears, and pointed out that the magnesium industry has the basis for entering arapid development channel. It is suggested that the magnesium industry can usethe experience of expanding applications with aluminum. From the passiveservice market to the active service market, cultivate the market, guideconsumption, and expand effective supply. With the broad prospects of themagnesium market, magnesium has become the fourth largest metal in China.

In the opening ceremony, Chang Guowu deputydirector of the Raw Materials Department of the Ministry of Industry andInformation Technology, pointed out some problems in the current development ofChina's magnesium industry, such as the level of automation is not high and thedeep processing technology is relatively backward. He suggested that magnesiumwheels hub be used as a focus for expanding magnesium applications, creatingmagnesium long-board products, promoting upstream and downstream docking, andpromoting large-scale applications in the automotive field.

He Jilin, professor of Zhengzhou University andacademician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, pointed out in the openingceremony that China's magnesium industry is “big but not strong” and faces manykey scientific and technological problems and new challenges that still need tobe broken. And in response to the problem, he proposed a proposal for thedevelopment of the magnesium industry.

Liu Shengli, deputy mayor of Xuchang MunicipalPeople's Government and Zhang Zhongmin, mayor of Changge Municipal People'sGovernment respectively introduced Xuchang City and Changge City to theparticipants from the historical level, transportation location and industrialcharacteristics.

On June 1, 2019, the China Nonferrous MetalsAssociation and the China Nonferrous Metals Society announced the announcementof 26 association standards such as “Smelting by-product nickel sulfate”. ZKCorp, as the main drafter unit, has formulated three standards for specialequipment for magnesium smelting production, such as preheater, rotary kiln andcooler. 

At the meeting, Professor Li Yanmin of ZK Corp,as a representative of the company, made a report on the “Analysis of theStandard Construction of Special Equipment for Magnesium Smelting”.

After the meeting, on the afternoon of October23, 2019, Su Genhua, general manager and Ren Guojun, deputy general manager ofHenan Zhengzhou Mining Machinery Co., Ltd., and more than ten people visitedHenan Dewei Technology Co., Ltd. The magnesium alloy automobile wheels producedby the company fully cater to the development direction of national high-endmetal structural materials with light weight, high strength, large size, hightemperature resistance, corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance, and havereceived strong support from government departments at all levels.
