I. Working principle:

The plate chain bucket elevator uses the roller chain as the traction component. The material enters the Hopper from the inlet assembled at the lower part of the elevator, and drives the chain wheel to rotate through the driving device. While the chain wheel drives the chain to move, the hopper fixed on the chain moves upward together, and the material is discharged from the outlet assembled at the upper part through centrifugal force and gravity.

II. Operating procedures:

1. Before using the elevator, it should be operated without load for a certain period of time. After the equipment is running normally, it can be fed. The feeding should be kept uniform. The production capacity of the feeding device should be within the rated conveying capacity of the elevator, and it is not allowed to be loaded or overloaded.

2. If there are no special circumstances, no load parking is allowed. When parking is needed, stop feeding and unload all the materials in the elevator bucket before parking.

3. When the elevator is working, it is not allowed to clean and repair the operating parts, nor is it allowed to adjust the tensioning device.

4. For the start-up after the emergency stop occurs during the full load transportation, the materials in the elevator must be drained manually first and then clicked several times.

5. If it is used in connection with several conveyors, start the last one that has been unloaded first, and then start one by one. The parking sequence is opposite to the starting sequence.

6. When the elevator runs for about 200 hours after the first use or repair, the connecting bolts should be tightened again.

Whether there is damage or not, if it is found that the chain roller is worn, the chain pin is worn or the Hopper is worn seriously, it should be repaired or replaced in time. According to the usage and working environment of each factory, regular overhaul shall be carried out.

8. If there is too much material accumulation at the tail of the elevator, it should be cleared in time to avoid affecting the operation of the elevator and causing intensified Hopper wear.

9, should always pay attention to the lower spiral spring tension device, make the chain maintain appropriate tensioning. When adjusting, the adjusting screws on both sides should move evenly to keep the tail axle line perpendicular to the center line of the conveyor, and lock it with nuts after adjusting. The surface of the adjusting screw should always be kept clean and lubricated with oil. If using the tension device of the lever counterweight box, make sure that the heavy objects in the counterweight box are placed evenly, so as not to aggravate the unilateral wear of the chain. Moreover, it is not easy to place too much, depending on the shaking amplitude of the weight box when the elevator is running. Generally, the shaking is maintained within 10mm.
