Cyclone Dust Collector
The cyclone dust collector utilizes the principle that when the air flow rotates, the powder particles are separated by the action of centrifugal force to achieve powder dust removal, separation and recovery. Therefore, it is called a cyclone dust collector, and sometimes a cyclone separator.
According to the number of cyclone tubes, cyclone dust collectors are divided into single-tube cyclone dust collectors and multi-tube dust collectors. According to different structural forms, they are divided into ordinary cyclone dust collectors, special-shaped cyclone dust collectors, double cyclone dust collectors, inverted cyclone dust collectors and combined cyclone dust collectors. According to different structural materials of the cyclone tubes, they are also divided into steel, cast iron and ceramic cyclone dust collectors.
The commercial operation of cyclone dust collectors has been around for more than 100 years. They are mainly used for pre-dust removal and separation and recovery of coarse-grained powders. For example, dust removal in the crushing and screening of ore and rock, separation and recovery in powder pipeline transportation, separation and recovery of particulate matter in granaries, cotton, wood processing and chemicals, etc., which have broad application value. However, the sealing of the ash discharge port of the cyclone dust collector and the equipment wear caused by the action of centrifugal force are also important issues that cannot be ignored.
Structure
The cyclone dust collector is composed of a cylinder, a cone, an inner cylinder, an air inlet pipe, an air outlet pipe and an ash discharge valve. The specific structure is shown in the following figure.
Most cyclone dust collectors are of steel structure, with the diameter D0 of the cylinder as the basic dimension, and their structural dimensions are shown in Table 1. When there are special requirements, the interior of the cyclone dust collector should be treated with anti-corrosion and wear resistance.
