At present, there are three main methods for producing zinc oxide in China, namely indirect method, direct method and wet method. This article describes the process of producing zinc oxide by direct method. The law is specifically divided into the following processes.
Zinc is an extremely widely used metal.Zinc products mainly include metal zinc, zinc-based alloys, and zinc oxide. Thescope of application of each product is different. For example, zinc oxide ismainly used in the fields of rubber, paint, enamel, medical printing and the like.
Due to the important role of zinc oxide, its domestic demand is increasing, which also leads to an increase in the priceof zinc oxide, which stimulates the rapid development of zinc oxide productionenterprises. Domestic zinc oxide production is generally established with zincoxide rotary kiln as the core equipment. At present, there are three main methods for producing zinc oxide in China, namely indirect method, directmethod and wet method. This article describes the process of producing zinc oxideby direct method. The law is specifically divided into the following processes.
1. Zinc oxide rotary kiln system consists of: batching system, loading system, rotary kiln system, slag water system, dust collection system, flue gas desulfurization system, public facilities, etc.
2. Zinc Oxide Rotary Kiln Step: The fluegas is cooled by a table and initially collected into zinc oxide soot, and thezinc oxide soot is collected by a pulse reverse blow belt type dust remover. After slag water quenching, it is sold for cement production or magneticseparation of iron ore.
3. Production process: zinc-containingscrap and anthracite powder are mixed and mixed into a uniform mixtureaccording to a certain ratio. They are transported by tape conveyor or bucketelevator to the mixing bin at the end of the kiln. Feeder, the mixture ismetered by the disc feeder and fed into the rotary kiln. As the rotary kilnrotates, the mixture slowly moves from the low temperature zone to the hightemperature zone. In the high temperature zone, the coal and kiln in themixture. The air entering the tail drum undergoes an oxidation reaction toproduce carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide and carbon in the coal react with zincoxide in the water slag to produce zinc vapor. The zinc vapor is then yellowedby oxygen in the air to produce zinc oxide soot. The dust collector iscollected and the remaining slag enters the slag pool after water quenching atthe kiln head.
The above is the specific process of zincoxide production. The direct method for producing zinc oxide has considerableuniversality and applicability, and the equipment and production process arerelatively mature, so it is the current production method usually adopted forzinc oxide production.
