9 major faults and treatment methods of magnetic separator in coal preparation plant
Fault 1: Magnetic separation efficiencydecreases
Treatment: Check if the water level is low, reduce the tail discharge diameter until there is a certain amount of overflow;the magnet may be in the wrong position, if the concentrate is thicker, rotatethe magnet to the discharge end. If the concentrate is thin, rotate the magnetto the feed end; the running gap is too large, re-adjust the drum position tothe correct gap size; the feed slime is mixed with mud, and the flocculant isused to remove the soil in the thickener; If the seam becomes large or damaged, the large particles entering the sorting tank will not be cleaned up in time, resulting in no overflow or overflow, which will shorten the magneticseparation zone. The sieve plate will be replaced, and the material in thesorting tank must be flushed before each shift. The feed slime is doped with aflocculant, and the flocculant is removed from the thickener using adispersant.
Fault 2: too much overflow
Treatment method: the discharge diameter istoo small, increase the tail discharge until a certain amount of overflow raft;the feed solid content is too high, increase the running gap and re-examine theoverflow; the drum position is too close to the feed end, re Place the roller;in the flow surge state, install the flow surge controller or improve thefeeding state before the magnetic separator enters the feed; the bottom of thedrum is blocked, and a rubber belt can be placed at the bottom of the drum forinspection (moving from one side to the other) . If a blockage is found, raisethe roller to remove the blockage.
Fault 3: low specific gravity
Solution: The magnet position is too high, reposition the magnet position; the water level is too high, re-adjust thetailings bushing size; the discharge gap is too wide, move the drum forward.
Fault 4: Uneven distribution of magnetitepowder at the discharge
Treatment: The drum and the discharge gapare not parallel, adjust the position of the drum; the water tank and the drumare not flat, and the gasket is adjusted until the level; the bottom of thedrum is blocked, and the blockage is checked and removed.
Fault 5: Roller skin wear
Treatment: There is a foreign objectbetween the scraper and the roll, check and clean.
Fault 6: High liquid level in the buffertank
Treatment: There are fibers or carbonblocks in the net, and the fibers and debris in the net are cleaned in time.
Fault 7: tailings pipe plugging
Treatment: Mop, often check the rinseroller under the foam.
Fault 8: Concentrated pipe plugging
Treatment: lack of water, increasehydration.
Fault 9: blockage of coal at the feed port
Treatment method: the sieving medium is bador broken, and the sieve plate is replaced in time; the pump is added to thelump coal, and the pump is added to the net scorpion; the sieve plate issmashed and the sieve plate is replaced.
