Cone crushers are widely used in production, and some common faults are unavoidable during their work. The size of the bevel gear wears quickly, and frequent breakage is a common failure. There are three main reasons for this failure.
First, the normal meshing condition of the bevel gear is destroyed.
The transmission principle of the cone crusher: The asynchronous motor drives the small bevel gear integrated with the gear shaft, and the small bevel gear drives the large bevel gear integrated with the eccentric shaft. The main shaft with taper and integral body is driven by the eccentric main shaft. The axis of the main shaft is the apex of the spherical bearing, and the cone is moved around the center line of the crusher to achieve the purpose of crushing the ore.
The eccentric bushing of the cone crusher has a strong centrifugal effect on the eccentricity and the weight of the weight during the rotation, so that the thick side is always pressed against the frame bushing, and the thin side and the frame bushing always maintain a certain gap. Therefore, the large bevel gear does not rotate around its own center line during the rotation, but has a radius of half (a/2) of the gap a of the frame bushing. Make a circular motion around the center line of the crusher.
A pair of bevel gears mesh normally, and the cones of the two gears must be at one point and the pitch circle coincides. The special operating state of the large bevel gear destroys the normal meshing relationship of the pair of bevel gears, so that a large impact load and sliding friction are generated on the tooth surface of the gear during operation. The phenomenon that the size of the bevel gear is affected by the impact load, wear or broken teeth is more common.
Second, rigid connection transmission
The transmission form of the cone crusher: The asynchronous motor is rigidly connected with the gear shaft through the elastic coupling. When the cone crusher is over-iron or overloaded, it is easy to cause the size of the bevel gear to break.
Third, the iron is frequently or bitten by a large block
When the iron sometimes passes over the ore, the spring of the crusher plays a protective role, but when the iron is frequently or bitten by a large piece, the spring will often be ineffective, causing damage to other parts of the body, such as the bevel gear being toothed.
