Working principle of zinc oxide rotary kiln

The working principle of zinc oxide rotarykiln is the whole process and principle of calcining zinc and treating zinc.Zinc oxide rotary kilns are generally used to treat filter cakes containingzinc. The zinc in the filter cake is mainly in the form of zinc ferrite, oxidesand sulfates. At the high temperature of the zinc oxide rotary kiln, zincferrite and solid carbon act to reduce to metal zinc, while zinc, lead, and cadmiumsulfate are also reduced and volatilized in the form of sulfides and gold.Metals that have been reduced and evaporated from the solid phase arere-oxidized under the effect of the kiln atmosphere and finally produced in theform of oxides.

Process flow of zinc oxide rotary kiln

1. The zinc charge and coking coal arecrushed into particles smaller than 40 meshes, and the zinc charge and thecoking coal are mixed in a ratio of 1:0.30-0.35 to obtain a mixture.

2. The mixture is made into a granular mixturewith an effective diameter of 8-15 mm, and finally the granular mixture is putinto a zinc oxide rotary kiln for smelting.

3. When zinc-bauxite or zinc-containingindustrial slag with a zinc content of 15% to 25% is used for smeltingzinc-bauxite production, significant coking or coal burning can be achieved.

4. High productivity and good quality of zincoxide obtained through smelting.
