This type of roller granulator has obvious advantages such as uniform discharge, High finished product rate, large output, compact structure, reasonable layout, small floor space, etc. At present, it is mainly applied in the ceramsite industry and can fully meet the requirements of sludge ceramsite, shale ceramsite, fly ash ceramsite and so on for granulation process.

The equipment is mainly composed of rack, fixed roller device, movable roller device, transmission device, etc. With simple structure, stability and reliability, convenient cleaning and maintenance, low energy consumption and long service life, it is an ideal granulation equipment in ceramsite industry. The double-roller granulator uses the belt to drive the speed reducer by the motor, and then drives the fixed roller and the movable rod to rotate synchronously through the chain. The material is between the two rods from above, and the material is squeezed through the circular hole on the roller through the double-axis extrusion. At the same time of extrusion, it can also discharge air between material particles, increasing the density and strength of particles.

The use of this roller granulator has certain requirements on the properties of materials. In order to have better granulation effect and higher granulation efficiency, it is better to control the water content of materials at about 25%. In addition, due to the limitation of its granulation principle, the double-roll granulator requires that the quality of raw materials should be relatively uniform and cannot contain impurities with higher hardness, such as iron blocks, or the roller skin will be easily damaged.

The roller skin is a consumable part. After using it for a period of time, the diameter of the through hole on the roller skin will become bigger and bigger, which needs to be replaced to a certain extent. Considering this point, the double-roller granulator adopts the design of separating the wheel hub from the roller skin. When changing the roller skin, it only needs to remove the roller skin that is set outside the wheel hub, then put on a new roller skin, and tighten it with fasteners.

The diameter of the raw material ball made by the roller granulator is 10-16mm. If the diameter is too small, it will be difficult to extrude and the ball forming efficiency will be low. If the diameter is too large, the strength will be insufficient, which will also affect the ball forming efficiency.

When debugging the roller granulator, you need to find the right position first, let the two rollers fit but not squeeze each other, and then use the positioning Bolt to fix the movable roller. Avoid two rollers squeezing each other, resulting in equipment failure due to excessive stress.
