Molecular Sieve Ball Forming Machine

This project is invested and constructed by Shandong Mudi, which is used in the ball forming process of molecular sieve.

The equipment model is GT2805, the diameter of the ball-forming machine is 2.8m, and the length is 5m. After the manufacture is completed, it will be used for finished molecular sieve granulation meeting the daily production of 15T. The ball-forming machine consists of transmission device, cylinder part, rack device with adjustable slope, supporting device of supporting wheel, gear block device, spiral cloth device, scraping device, rake device and water distributor device.

The transmission device consists of frequency conversion motor, reducer, large gear, small gear and coupling, etc. The frequency conversion motor is connected with the reducer through the coupling, and a pinion is installed on the output shaft of the reducer. The pinion is meshed with the big gear installed on the cylinder, thus driving the cylinder to rotate.

The cylinder part consists of cylinder, wheel belt, gear belt, large Gear device, etc. Due to the particularity of molecular sieve material, the cylinder material adopts 304 stainless steel, the wheel belt and the gear belt are set on the cylinder, and the large Gear device is connected with the cylinder through the flange ring outside the cylinder. To facilitate the installation of the large gear ring, the large gear ring is composed of two half gear rings. A locating pin is set on the joint surface of the half gear ring. The two ends of the cylinder are equipped with material ring. In order to facilitate the discharge of finished molecular sieve, the inner diameter of the material retaining ring at the feeding end of the cylinder is smaller than that at the discharging end.

One end of the rack device is equipped with worm gear screw lift, which is connected with the rack device through hinge. The tilt angle of the rack can be changed by adjusting the height of the lift to meet the needs of producing different molecular sieve particle sizes.

The rack device is equipped with supporting device of supporting wheel, gear block device, transmission device, etc. The supporting device of the supporting wheel acts as a supporting cylinder. It consists of supporting wheel, supporting wheel shaft, bearing seat, etc. Since the cylinder is obliquely installed on the supporting wheel, the wheel stopping device can limit the axial displacement of the cylinder.

Spiral cloth device, scraping device, rake device and water distributor device are installed inside the cylinder.

The spiral cloth device is driven by a frequency conversion motor, which can adjust the rotating speed of the motor and increase or decrease the feeding amount of molecular sieve powder according to the ball forming condition of the material in the cylinder. The lower part of the spiral groove in the cylinder is equipped with a cloth device. The cloth motor drives the cloth plate to do reciprocating motion, so that the materials in the spiral groove can fall into the cylinder evenly.

In addition, there are maintenance holes, overflow holes and level meters on the tank body. The high and low level meters can control the amount of materials in the spiral tank body to avoid excessive materials in the tank body, causing equipment damage. Overflow hole, when the level gauge fails, it can be forcibly discharged through the overflow port to avoid equipment damage.

The scraping device consists of scraper, scraper seat, scraper frame, spindle, bearing seat, cylinder, etc. In order to meet the strength requirements of molecular sieve particles during the ball forming process, it is necessary to add binder, which leads to the fact that molecular sieve raw materials are easy to adhere to the inside of the cylinder, while the scraper device can remove the materials adhering to the inside of the cylinder. Driven by the cylinder, the main shaft can drive the scraper to rotate at a certain angle, making the scraper contact with the inner wall of the cylinder. With the rotation of the cylinder, the materials stuck inside the cylinder are cleared.

The working principle of the ball forming machine:

When working, after the raw material powder is measured by spiral scale, it is evenly sent into the cylinder of the drum granulator through the adjustable spiral cloth device. Since the cylinder moves in a tilting state, the material ball moves from high-end to low-end in the axial direction of the cylinder while rotating with the cylinder. During the movement of the material ball, the atomized water sprayed out by the atomizing nozzle makes the surface of the nozzle moist, while the raw material powder adheres to the surface of the wet material ball, and gradually condenses, spherulizes and grows up. In order to fully throw and roll the materials so as not to stick to the inner wall of the barrel, a scraper device is set inside the barrel. At the same time, in order to ensure the smooth output of the formed molecular sieve, a rake device is also set inside the barrel to deliver the formed molecular sieve to the next process.
