1．Project Overview:

The customer is a large waste material recycling company in Poland. The equipment required is used for shaping and sorting polyethylene-based composite particles. The customer's request is to sort irregular particles with a temperature not exceeding 100℃ and a size of about 5mm through a cyclone for preliminary sorting, and then enter a rotary drum screen with an aperture of 4mm for rolling shaping and sorting again, with a comprehensive capacity of 600kg/hour.

2．Solution:

According to the customer's requirements, our engineer selected the 1000mm diameter cyclone and GS1025 rotary drum screen.

This set of equipment has many advantages such as high working efficiency, low operating cost, stable mechanical performance, smooth transmission, low loss, easy replacement of wearing parts, and low maintenance cost.

Main structural features:

2.1 The gear motor and the supporting wheel shaft adopt chain drive, which has simple structure, convenient use and maintenance, stable transmission, low noise, and overload protection.

2.2 The feed pipe and the shell are sealed with rubber to avoid interference caused by installation errors and screen drum angle adjustment.

2.3 The screen drum is punched from high-quality carbon steel plate and is equipped with a brush device, so the screen holes are not easy to be blocked.

2.4 The screen drum is arranged horizontally and has spiral blades inside, which can make the material more fully screened.

2.5 The screen drum is sealed by the body sealing cover to ensure that the equipment is working, effectively preventing dust from escaping and eliminating dust pollution.

2.6 The bracket is equipped with an adjustment device, and the angle of the screen drum can be adjusted by adjusting the nut. At the same time, in order to prevent the screen drum from sliding when adjusting the angle, a roller blocking device is provided on the bracket.

3．Working Principle

The gear motor drives the supporting wheel shaft of the active support device through the sprocket, and the supporting wheel rotates with the supporting wheel shaft, which in turn drives the screen drum supported by the supporting wheel to rotate. The material is discharged into the feed pipe of the drum screen through the rotary valve at the bottom of the cyclone, and the material enters the screen drum through the feed pipe. The screen drum is equipped with spiral blades inside. Due to the rotation of the screen drum device, the material with smaller particle size is discharged through the screen hole, and the material with larger particle size reaches the discharge end through the screen surface, and enters the next process through the corresponding discharge port.
