Cyclone Dust Collector

Cyclone Dust Collector

The cyclone dust collector completes the dust removal process by rotating the air flow containing dust in the cylinder, so its operation, maintenance and management are much more important than other mechanical dust collectors. The operation of cyclone dust collector includes starting, running and stopping. The maintenance work is mainly the analysis, prevention and elimination of common faults.

1. Check before Startup

1.1 check whether each single cyclone dust collector has been installed and has the starting conditions. No problem before starting.

1.2 check the air tightness of the joint part of each cyclone installation: check the air tightness of the joint part of dust collector (group) and flue, the joint part of dust collector and ash hopper, ash hopper and Ash discharging device and Ash conveying device. Make sure that there is no ash leakage or air leakage phenomenon that can affect the performance of cyclone dust collector.

1.3 After the inspection, close the baffle valve to avoid overloading of the fan. Start the fan, no abnormal phenomenon, gradually open the big baffle to make the dust collector (group) pass through the specified amount of dust-containing gas.

2. Operational precautions

2.1 pay attention to the changes of worn parts. The most easily worn part of cyclone dust collector is the inner wall of the outer cylinder colliding with high-speed dust-containing gas.

2.2 pay attention to the change of Gas Humidity. When the gas humidity decreases (caused by system operation or furnace shutdown), it is easy to cause dust attachment, blockage and corrosion.

2.3 pay attention to the change of pressure difference and the condition of smoke color discharged. Due to abrasion and corrosion, the cyclone dust collector perforates and leads to dust emission, thus reducing efficiency, eliminating the deterioration of smoke color and changing pressure difference.

2.4 pay attention to check the air tightness of each connection part of the cyclone dust collector, and check the changes of the gas flow rate and dust concentration of the cyclone cylinder of each unit.

3. Parking

In order to prevent dust attachment or corrosion, after the system stops running, the cyclone dust collector should continue to run for a period of time until the inside of the dust collector is completely replaced by air before the operation of the dust collector can be stopped. In order to ensure the normal operation and technical performance of the cyclone dust collector, the following inspections must be carried out during shutdown:

3.1 remove the dust attached to the inner cylinder, outer cylinder and blades, and remove the dust in the ash bucket;

3.2 repair the perforation caused by abrasion and corrosion, and polish the repair place smoothly;

3.3 check the air tightness of each joint part and replace the seal if necessary.
