Malaysia CEA Company wants to build a LECA production line.The final LECA will be used to produce lightweight wall panels, lightweightbricks and other new light building materials. In order to ensure that thequalified LECA can be obtained in the future industrial production, it isnecessary to find the appropriate production raw materials and formulas in theearly stage.
The Solid Waste Research Center of Henan Zhengzhou MiningMachinery Co., Ltd. actively helps customers solve difficulties, analyzedifficulties, and combine experience and theoretical calculation to set up avariety of potential formulations. In our laboratory, we make use of the professionalexperimental equipment for many experiments. Through unremitting efforts, notonly to help customers find the right formula, but also to teach customers todo the experiment with correct method. It shall help customers in the futureexperiments and production work laid a solid foundation. In this process, ourserious efforts and professionalism have been highly recognized by customers.Therefore, the customer decided to buy a set of experimental equipment from ourcompany and do more research in the local area combined with our experimentalmethods. This will lay a solid foundation for successful mass production in thefuture.
Project Description:
Theformula testing from Henan Zhengzhou Mining Machinery Co., Ltd is to detect thecomposition, prepare the green ball with different testing formulas. Calcinethem at different temperatures to observe the porosity, strength change andexpansion. Through many experiments, the appropriate formula and sinteringtemperature range are found out, so as to obtain qualified LECA. This test canhelp to conclude a reasonable calcination process flow and provide a reliablebasis for the process engineering of AECA’s industrial plant.
Themain steps of the experiment are as follows:
1.Take out a little sample firstly, and test the main chemical components,moisture and loss of ignition of the material with the elemental analyzer
2.Dry raw materials with temperature of 105 ° C for 12 hours.
3.Raw material crushing and grinding to get the particle size with 200 mesh.
4.Mix for 10 minutes.
5.Add 15% water to make sludge.
6.Hand making ball with diameter of 10mm.
7.Dry after pelleting with temperature of 105 ° C for 2 hours.
8.Calcination in Muffle furnace. Every minute, the temperature rises to 1200℃, then the temperature drops naturally,and the temperature drops to room temperature. The whole process takes aboutseven hours.
Carried out inaccordance with the testing formula, batching, mixing, manual ball-making,drying and calcining. The formula testing from formula 1 to formula 10 was touse the following method to test, put the ball in the muffle furnace at 16 ℃ / min to heat up until the temperature was 700 ℃, then rising at a rate of about 30 ℃ / min until it reached the highest temperature. Kept warm for 15 minand then wait for the material to make natural cooling in the furnace. When thetemperature drop below 200℃, the sample wastaken out to observe the expansion ,and the strength and porosity change.
