Project with Annual Output of 200,000 tons Kaolin Rotary Kiln

Coal series kaolin is a unique kaolin resource in our country, which is mainly distributed in Carboniferous-Permian coal series in North China, Northeast China and Northwest China. Coal-series kaolin is rich in resources. Large coal mines are basically accompanied by coal-series kaolin, with proven reserves up to 2.8 billion tons, mainly distributed in northeast China and Inner Mongolia in northwest China. At present, there are about dozens of manufacturers of calcined soil in our country, such as Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shaanxi, Anhui, Hunan, etc. However, there are only a few manufacturers that can produce high-quality calcined kaolin on a large scale, with an annual output of about 440,000 tons of calcined kaolin.

Hard coal-series calcined kaolin has the advantages of high light scattering rate, good covering power and so on due to its unique characteristics of pseudo-hexagonal crystal structure and high porosity, plus its high whiteness and good chemical stability and insulation after calcination modification. The coal-series calcined kaolin is widely used in the fields of paint and coating, paper making, rubber, plastics, cables, ceramics, etc. The demand of kaolin in the world will continue to grow: the demand of large consumers of kaolin, such as papermaking, and the sectors of ceramics, refractory materials, buildings, coatings, rubber, plastics, agriculture and chemical industry that consume about 15% of kaolin will continue to increase.

The domestic market price of calcined kaolin (whiteness over 90%) ranges from 800 yuan/ton to 3200 yuan/ton, and the product grade price difference is quite large.

High quality calcined kaolin is mainly used in papermaking, coating industry and rubber and plastic products in China.

In the paper industry, calcined kaolin is mainly used in coated paper, coated white paperboard and other coated paper, decorative base paper and thermal paper.

In 2022, the second phase of production line of 1250 mesh kaolin with an annual output of 200,000 tons will be built, and large-scale rotary kiln, ball mill, crusher and other equipment will be signed with our company.
