Advantages of Shaftless Screw Conveyor

The conveying mode ofshaftless screw conveyor is basically the same as that of ordinary screwconveyor. Compared with ordinary screw conveyors, the spiral body of theshaftless screw conveyor does not have a mandrel, and uses thicker blades toweld the spiral body. When the shaftless screw conveyor is running, therotating screw body is driven to slide in contact with the liner at the bottomof the inner wall of the casing. The material will form a protective layerbetween the spiral body and the inner wall of the casing, the spiral body doesnot directly contact the inner wall, and the casing and the spiral blade areless worn.

Compared with the driveshaft screw conveyor, the shaftless screw conveyor adopts the design of nomandrel and intermediate hanging device, and the whole adopts spiral bladepushing material, which has the following advantages:

   1. Shaftless screw conveyor has superabrasion resistance, durability and long service life.

2. Large torque and lowenergy consumption: Because of the shaftless, the material is not easy to beblocked, and the discharge port is not blocked, so it can run at a lower speedand drive smoothly to reduce energy consumption.

  3. Large conveying capacity and long distance:The conveying capacity is 1.5 times that of the spiral of the same diameter,and the conveying distance can reach more than ten meters, and multi-stageseries installation is adopted according to customer needs.

4. Theinner wall of the shell adopts a special liner, which can work under hightemperature, and can use different material liners according to thecharacteristics of the conveying materials.

5. Stronganti-winding: It adopts no central shaft and no hanging device, which hasspecial advantages for conveying belt-shaped and easy-winding materials, andprevents mechanical failures caused by material blockage during conveying.

6. Goodenvironmental protection performance: The enclosed conveying and easy-to-cleanspiral surface ensure environmental sanitation and the conveyed materials arenot polluted and leak-free.

7.Shaftless screw conveyor has few components and daily maintenance. It has theadvantages of simple structure, strong sealing and convenient operation.
