Gold ore beneficiation process

Gold ore beneficiation methods mainlyinclude physical beneficiation and chemical beneficiation.
(1) Physical beneficiation: flotation method, re-election method.

(1) Physical beneficiation: flotationmethod, re-election method. The flotation method treats various vein gold,silver ore, sulfide ore, and re-election method to treat gold with low grade.

(2) Chemical beneficiation: cyanidationmethod, thiourea method, thiosulfate method, aqueous solution chlorinationmethod, bromine-containing solution leaching method, bacterial leaching method,amalgamation method, and the like. For some refractory gold ore, oxidativeroasting, pressurized oxidation, bacterial oxidation and acid leaching,alkaline leaching pretreatment, and ferric chloride are also used.

2. Quartz vein type gold mine

Most of the quartz vein type gold depositsare mainly bare and semi-naked gold. The principle flow is generally applicableto the flotation method, the re-election method and the chemical leachingmethod.

(1) Flotation process 

The gold mine has good floatability. Thegeneral regulator uses sodium carbonate and lime. The gangue inhibitor useswater glass and sodium hexameta phosphate. The collector is made of xanthate,butyl ammonium and diced.

(2) Re-election process 

Coarse gold can be recovered by re-electionand amalgamation. The re-election method can recover part of the gold inadvance. Therefore, the gold mine adopts a re-election-flotation,re-election-leaching joint process.

(3) (Chemical) Leaching process

At present, the (chemical) leaching methodis the main method for extracting gold and silver from fine-grained gold ore.It has the advantages of mature technology, high extraction rate and strongadaptability to ore.

3. Sulfide containing gold ore

Such ore is mainly composed ofsulphide-coated gold such as pyrite, which is suitable for flotation process.
