Ball Mill Trial Run Considerations

After the ball mill has been installed, the empty car can be commissioned after passing the inspection. The trial run of the ball mill should be carried out by a skilled ball mill operator and strictly abide by the safety operation rules of the ball mushroom machine. The following ZK CORP will briefly introduce the empty car test run of the ball mill.

After the ball mill has been installed, theempty car can be commissioned after passing the inspection. The trial run ofthe ball mill should be carried out by a skilled ball mill operator andstrictly abide by the safety operation rules of the ball mushroom machine. Thefollowing ZK CORP will briefly introduce the empty car test run of the ballmill.

1. The continuous operation time of airrunning is not less than 12-24 hours. Problems found during operation should beresolved in time.

2. The air-running test machine can carry outthe load test run normally. Load test run should be carried out in stages.During the load operation, feeding should be performed according to thedischarge conditions to avoid unnecessary wear and damage of steel balls andcylinder liners.

1) Add the appropriate material and 1/3number of steel balls to run for 12-24 hours.

2) Add to 2/3 number of steel balls for 24-48hours.

3) According to the ball mill dischargeconditions, the output of qualified products, with reference to the actual ballload of the same concentrator ball mill, to determine the ball mill'sreasonable amount of ball loading, for not less than 72 hours of test run.

3. The increase in the above-mentioned loadand the length of the test run are determined on the basis of the running-inconditions (temperature rise, noise, tooth surface contact, etc.) of the gearsand reducer gears. Before the tooth surface contact accuracy reaches the designrequirements, it must not be operated at full load.

4. During the test run, the cooling andlubrication system should work normally. The main bearing, transmission bearingand reducer temperature should be normal.

5. After loading 2/3 number of steel ballsfor 24-48 hours, check and tighten all bolts again.

6. The test operation should be carefullyrecorded.
