The flotation column is a cylinder with a height of 6~7 meters.The bottom is equipped with a group of bubble generators made of microporousplastic, and the upper part is provided with a feeder distributor. The inputpulp is evenly distributed on the cross section of the column and slowlydescends. During the descending process, the ore particles communicate with therising bubbles.

The height of the flotation zone in the flotation column is muchlarger than that of the flotation machine, and the probability of colliding andsticking of the ore particles with bubbles is large. The turbulent intensity ofthe slurry flow in the flotation area is low, and the hydrophobic mineralparticles adhering to the bubbles are not easy to fall off. The thickness ofthe foam layer of the flotation column can reach several tens of centimeters,the secondary enrichment effect is particularly significant, and water can bepoured into the foam layer to enhance this effect. The final concentrate isoften obtained by a rough election.

In order to ensure the normal operation of the flotation column,it is required to strictly control the amount of ore, air volume and windpressure, and observe whether the following situations occur.

First, turn flowers

The main reason for turning flowers is that the air pipe is brokenand the air pressure is too high. At this time, the air pressure should beadjusted. If there are still turning flowers, the parking should be stopped tocheck if the inflatable pipe is broken or there is no compaction. Do not drivebefore troubleshooting.

Second, tailings tube plugging

This is the most prone to accidents during production operations.The majority of the reasons are due to the coarseness of the ore in the slurry,the sudden increase in the amount of ore, the too small opening of the gate ofthe tailings, or the dropping of other debris in the column.

The proposed solution given by the ZK CORP is to installhigh-pressure water pipes or high-pressure air pipes in advance at theappropriate position at the bottom of the discharge pipe. Once clogging occurs,high-pressure water or high-pressure air can be used to clear the pipes. At thesame time check the size of the ore and the amount of ore, and adjust it tonormal.

Third, less foam

The main reason is that the amount of air is insufficient or thereis a problem with the pharmaceutical system, and adjustments should be made ina timely manner.
