Raw mill is mainly used in grinding raw materials in cement plant. It is also suitable for various material s and other fields such as metallurgy, mine, chemical and construction. Besides, it has two forms, one is an open form, and the other is a closed circuit form equipped with powder classifier. It is widely applied in many industries and has convenient operation.
It has many advantages such as, strong adaptability, continuous production, large crushing ratio and easy to adjust the size of the products. And it is suitable for both dry production and wet production. It also can allow the milling and drying processing simultaneously.
Raw mill produced by ZK Corp has two types: Ball Mill for Raw Meal Grinding and Vertical Mill for Raw Meal Grinding.
1. Ball Mill for Raw Meal Grinding：Raw meal ball mill has features of various materials application, continuous running, big grinding rate, easy control of product ﬁneness.
2. Vertical Mill for Raw Meal Grinding：In the process of Dry Type Cement Production Line, Vertical Mill is mainly used for raw meal preparation. Compared with Ball Mill, it has the advantages like energy saving.
Production Process (Vertical Mill for Raw Meal Grinding)
The raw material from dosing station after weighing, is transported into inlet of vertical mill by belt conveyor, then fed into rotary air lock valve of vertical mill together with outer recycle materials, after grinding, drying, and separating, the coarse material comes back to grinding disc for grinding again. The qualiﬁed product will be brought into cyclone ﬁlter through separator. The product collected by cyclone filter and powder from bag ﬁlter at the kiln inlet comes into raw meal homogenizing silo by chute, bucket elevator and so on.
A part of exhaust gas from cyclone ﬁlter comes back into air inlet of vertical mill and the other will be discharged into atmosphere through bag filter bag filter, fan and chimney at kiln inlet. The drying heat resource of raw meal vertical mill is from exhaust gas
of preheater by high temperature fan.
